Purchase Order Financing:
Banks analyze aggregated historical data via financial statements to make loan decisions-they look back in time not ahead. Once a facility is granted, it is usually capped and cannot be increased until after another year when the line comes up for renewal. Banks will lend against A/R and inventory but won’t consider customer POs as collateral. PWW does.
Purchase order (PO) financing allows you to take advantage of customer orders from existing or new customers regardless of the strength of your balance sheet. PO finance allows companies to take advantage of sales opportunities and growth which they might not be able to fund through traditional bank financing and/or without having to dilute current ownership.
PWW finances the purchase of finished goods from your supplier by paying your supplier directly. With PO financing your customer orders will get filled and not wither on the vine.
